Big D Wave™ utilizes high frequency, low intensity sound waves to improve blood flow and boost sexual performance in men. The sound waves repair blood vessels, stimulate growth of new blood vessels, nerves and removes plaque.
This process, called angiogenesis, enhances sensitivity in the penis. Because Big D Wave ™ uses low intensity sound waves and is non-invasive, it is often referred to as Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT).
Men of all ages have interest in improving their sexual performance with firmer erections, longer lasting endurance, and a decreased downtime after orgasm. Men, even as young as in their 20s or 30s, are looking for a more “supercharged” sexual experience. You do not have to be suffering from ED to benefit from Big D Wave™. If you want to perform by satisfying your lover like you never have before, Big D Wave™ can help!
Big D Wave ™ is a safe, tolerable and effective treatment that is drug free, surgery free, totally non-invasive, requires no anesthesia and is performed in-office for 20 minutes and provides long-lasting results.
The patient, after meeting with a physician or nurse practitioner, will be taken to a private treatment room where a male or female technician will begin the therapy. You will undress and you will be given a gel to apply to the penis. The treatment begins with the Big D Wave ™ handpiece moving over the organ, a process that is that is not uncomfortable and takes only 20 minutes to complete.
The entire penis is treated, including the hidden parts called the Crus. No anesthesia is needed, as the treatments are painless. Some patients might notice a tingling sensation, but this is not an uncomfortable feeling.
Most men at some point will become aroused during the therapy which is normal and indicates that the therapy is working by increasing the blood flow. You will clean off the gel, get dressed and the treatment is complete until the next session. No downtime after the therapy and erections and sexual activity are encouraged.
· Immediate resumption of normal daily activities. You can have sex same night.
*Results vary per individual.
This is a technique which has been used in Europe for more than a decade and is now available in the United States. It uses pulsed acoustical sound waves (radial shock waves) to start a process called neovascularization. These acoustic waves help form new blood vessels and increase blood flow to the penis. It has been used before for other conditions, including heart conditions, kidney stones, and orthopedic conditions.
The Big D Wave offers many advantages to potential patients. Unlike medications, Big D Wave doesn’t require people to take oral drugs or shots prior to sex. It’s also non-invasive, so there is no surgery involved and there are few side effects to the treatments. There is also no downtime with the treatments, and each session only takes 20 minutes. Best of all, patients will only need 10 treatments for lasting results.
Many men have vasculogenic ED, which is caused by a lack of blood flow to the sexual organ. Big D Wave can help them as well as diabetic men whose condition contributes to their ED. It has also been used to treat those who are both responsive and unresponsive to ED medication.
Current studies of patients using ESWT indicate the benefits can last up to 2 years or longer, and 2 out of 3 men with vascular or diabetic ED will have favorable results. So far, there have been more than 40 studies conducted on ESWT, most of which have shown promising results. Up to 75% of men who were taking oral medication to treat ED were able to stop taking the medication after ESWT and perform intercourse successfully. Around 72% of people who were unresponsive to oral ED medication were able to perform intercourse after ESWT along with oral drugs. Likewise, the treatments have been well-tolerated by patients overall. Many patients have found their erections had improved and they were able to have intercourse successfully.
We recommend this treatment be used in conjunction with the Priapus Shot® or the Big D Shot ™ for enhanced results. If you would like to discuss ESWT in more depth with our skilled physician, Dr. G. Pat Sharratt, D.O., give us a call and let us see what we can do for you.
